Professional Achievements

OWNER/CEO: TARTER FARM AND RANCH EQUIPMENT, January 2006 – 2019
Vice President: TARTER FARM AND RANCH EQUIPMENT, JUNE 1996 – JANUARY 2006

  • Grew Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment into one of the nation’s largest suppliers of farm and ranch equipment, with more than 1,500 employees and annual revenue of $250 million. Also, secured sourcing relationships across North America, Europe and Asia while establishing direct relationships with large steel mills and service centers.
  • Spearheaded and participated in negotiation of multi-million dollar manufacturing agreements and other contracts with John Deere, Bobcat, Kioti, Bush Hog, Tractor Supply Company. Acquired and then restored numerous companies from the brink of closing, the most recent of which being Applegate Livestock.
  • I expect to step down as CEO in 2019 while still retaining ownership of both Tarter and Stateline Steel. This will allow me to concentrate on new business ventures, investments and expected advisory roles outside of Tarter.
OWNER: STATELINE STEEL, DECEMBER 2009 – PRESENT

  • As owner of this steel brokerage firm, duties included oversight of a company earning $15 million in annual revenue. Managerial duties included participation in all Stateline Steel new business acquisition ventures and project lifecycle tasks. Building strategic alliances required my involvement as owner to execute long-term financial and business planning that increased revenue and profitability.
OWNER: Software Start-up and E-Commerce Company, Early 2019

  • Turning to the tech front, I am spearheading a software company start-up and e-commerce company that will align me with digital business ventures for 2019 and beyond.
